Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Montreal, Full Time, Mid Level Experience

 

Valnet is on the lookout for an innovative and process-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our content team. This person will ensure new writers meet our quality standards and serve as the go-to resource for improving the experience of remote team members.

 

Are you highly motivated, and dedicated to developing great results, awesome content, as well as mentoring talent? If so, then you're going to fit right in. Under the supervision of the content directors, you will provide feedback on current recruiting standards as well as improve onboarding processes. Most importantly, you will ensure our remote contributors feel connected, fairly compensated, and eager to contribute. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support our remote resource network

  • Onboard new contributors and editors

  • Track and fill requests for new remote contributors

  • Ensure new hires adhere to formatting and writing standards

  • Investigate and vet new freelance job boards

  • Manage remote team budget and operations

  • Work collaboratively with the managing editors, legal, and HR resources.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Passion for developing and supporting people

  • Interest in Valnet's brands and content

  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work effectively on a team and independently

  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills

  • Extremely detail-oriented.
