The Opportunity:

Valnet is searching for a seasoned sales professional to work with top-tier agencies and their online advertising clients. In this role you will be expected to build upon the successes of existing customers and develop new relationships with the industry’s top marketing minds. If you have a hunter mentality, with a solid understanding of advertising and the digital media industry, then this is a perfect opportunity with limitless potential.

 

Responsibilities:

• Exceed or meet quarterly and annual revenue targets based on your account list as well as prospecting and cultivating new business accounts for Valnet.

• Build a solid understanding of Valnet’s media solutions, websites and their place in the digital media industry.

• Build agency/direct client relationships with senior level executives.

• Reach out to potential clients, perform in person presentations to media professionals, create RFP’s, and close accounts 

• Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in ZOHO CRM

• Deliver product feedback to executive team to ensure best practice

• Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction

• Participate in industry events and conferences.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years sales experience in online advertising.

• Outgoing and adept at creating professional relationships.

• Experience in audience-based selling of digital media is ideal 

• Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and products.

• Active in Digital Media industry and networking events.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).

• “Hunter mentality,” tenacity, and ability to “think on your feet.”
